Brugge/Bruges is a little town which has canals flowing through its heart. You know how amsterdam is crowded with bridges and canals. Brugge is same but on quiter side and it offers worlds best collection of beers. Infact, there is a beer wall in Bruge which hold worlds largest collection of Beer bottles and beers. My one stop beer favorite.

Everything works until 5pm, then everything is closed in the city. Very touristically and romantic. This small city has many canals to explore by boat, beautiful churches, delicious food, chocolates and beers.

One of Belgium's most scenic cities, Bruges charms from start to finish. Medieval buildings and pretty canals combine to provide a throughly lovely city to walk around, and soak in the atmosphere.

Bruges is a fairytale city, it’s small and easy to get around by foot, I loved strolling along the canals and finding the best places for a sneaky kiss

Often referred to as the Venice of the North- it's easy to see why, with Bruges picturesque canals and cobbled streets. Join one of the Legends of Bruges free walking tours to learn all about the myths and legends of the city.

Brugge is a beautiful place to visit. Wind through the many streets to see plenty of horse drawn carriages, canal boats and beautiful buildings which make this city so culturally beautiful.

Bruges is so perfectly quaint that it almost feels like an amusement park village. Take a carriage ride, do a brewery tour to see Trappists' beer history, stop at Dumon Chocolatier, and eat the frites with the many dipping sauces they offer.

100% Take a day trip to Brugge, don’t need to do a tour, just take trains there and back, there is a special ticket price for students I think

Far better than Brussels - go to Bruges for a quintessential European town with narrow walking streets, great history (the church of the sacred blood) and, oh, incredible street waffles

I LOVE THIS CITY!!! I went to brussels and bruges and I thought bruges was WAY better. It is a much smaller city but it is cleaner, safer, cuter and just an overrall better experience. You really only need to spend one day/night here to do it all, but if you want to pace yourself then I say stay 2 or 3 nights. The whole city is walkable and has great history, shopping, street food, view points and so much more.
